Beth Haile, US, reports, a brand new blogCatholicMoralTheology, http://catholicmoraltheology.com/

It’s Terrific!  Here’s their Mission Statement:
We are a group of North American Catholic moral theologians who come together in friendship to engage each other in theological discussion, to aid one another in our common search for wisdom, and to help one another live lives of discipleship, all in service to the reign of God.  We understand our role as scholars and teachers to be a vocation rooted in the Church and so we seek to place the fruits of our training at the service of the Church,  as well as the academy and the world.  We recognize that we as a group will have disagreements, but want to avoid the standard “liberal /conservative” divide that often characterizes contemporary conversation, as well as the bitterly divisive tone of so much ethical discussion (particularly on the internet). We therefore endeavor to converse with each other and others in a spirit of respect, charity, and humility.

CALL FOR PAPERS on Christian Social Ethics

Marianne Heimbach-Steins, Germany, announces a CALL FOR PAPERS ON CHRISTIAN SOCIAL ETHICS

We are just preparing a new volume of the 'Jahrbuch für Christliche Sozialwissenschaften' for 2012. We are very much interested to develop the Yearbook as an international forum of CST and Christian Social Ethics.  It is open for publications in English.

Jahrbuch für Christliche Sozialwissenschaften 53 / 2012,  Yearbook for Christian Social Sciences
Now it is possible to submit articles covering social-ethical topics of choice for publication in the open section of the 'Jahrbuch für Christliche Sozialwissenschaften' (Yearbook for Christian social sciences), the leading theological journal on social-ethics in German speaking (Catholic) Christian Social Ethics.  Its focus is ecumenical, interdisciplinary, and international; some articles will be published in English. The Jahrbuch especially wants to provide for an excellent publication opportunity for young scholars and researchers in Christian Social Ethics.

The submitted articles in English or German will be anonymously reviewed (double blind peer review). Only three articles will be published in each print version of the Jahrbuch. The submission deadline is January 31 of each year. The invitation to submit contributions to the open section of the Jahrbuch extends to all scholars in the field of Christian Social Ethics and its related fields.

The complete Call for Papers, the contributor guidelines and further information about the Jahrbuch can be found on http://www.uni-muenster.de/FB2/en/jcsw/manuskripte/callforpapers.html
