Upcoming Meetings in Trento

On April 23 I am meeting in Trento with local academic, civic, ecclesial, and economic leaders so as to better plan the conference. From July 23-26, the entire Planning Committee will meet in Trento.

All five winners have been notified of their month long fellowships in Trento.

Luigi Lorenzetti has published at Edizioni Dehoniane Bologna the Padova plenary papers in Italian: Etica Teologica Cattolica nella Chiesa Universale: Atti del primo Congresspo interculturale di teologia morale

Clement Campos reports that there will be an Indian edition of Catholic Theological Ethics in the World Church.

Fund-Raising

In May we will be sending out a general appeal of support. Fund-raising is going fine, according to schedule.

News from a New Bishop

Karl Golser, who helped us in planning Padova and Trent, was consecrated on March 8, Bishop of Bolzano-Bressanone (just north of Trent). He remains until 2010 the president of the Italian Association of moral theologians. He reports that the Italian Association will host their biannual meeting at Pietralba (50 km north of Trento) two days before our meeting at Trento. In this way, as at Padova, we will have many Italian participants. Congratulations, Bishop Karl Golser!
