As a result of the CTEWC meeting in Berlin in June 2013, a new regional committee has been formed: the European Regional Committee.  Formerly the Eastern European Committee, this group brings together ethicists across Europe and adds an important dimensions the global network of Catholic theological ethics.

The committee is made of people representing 11 countries.  It has 4 women and 6 men working in a variety of fields.  Visit the European regional committee page to meet all of them.

As members of a working committee they will be catalysts for CTEWC activities both in their respective countries and within the entire region.

The group will be coming together this Spring in Dublin as guests of Linda Hogan to set a long-term agenda for strengthening the work of Catholic theological ethicists. In addition to that meeting Roman Globokar of Slovenia and Konrad Glombik of Poland will be working on an initiative specifically aimed at supporting Polish theological ethicists.

Please join us in welcoming them!
